Welcome to the Elysian Awards. By accessing our website, submitting nominations, booking event attendance, or participating in any aspect of the Elysian Awards programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Definitions
“Participant” refers to nominators, nominees, judges, sponsors, attendees, and any individual or organisation engaged in the Awards.
“Submission” refers to any nomination, entry, document, media, or content provided.
“Event” refers to any ceremony or gathering organised as part of the Elysian Awards.
“Website” refers to elysianawards.org and all associated pages.
- Overview
These Terms govern your use of the Elysian Awards website and your participation in all award-related activities, including nominations, judging, sponsorship, and event attendance.
- Eligibility
Nominations are open to individuals and organisations who meet the criteria outlined in each award category.
Participants and attendees must be aged 18 or over
We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to reject or disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms.
- Nominations
All information submitted must be accurate and truthful, and provided with the necessary permissions.
Multiple entries may be allowed unless otherwise stated.
By submitting a nomination, you confirm that the content is your original work or that you have the legal right to submit it.
Submitting your entry deems it complete and payable.
The judging panel’s decision is final.
Participants agree to indemnify the Elysian Awards against any claims arising from content submitted without proper consent or intellectual property rights.
- Judging and Awards
Award decisions are made by an independent judging panel based on published criteria.
All decisions are final and not subject to appeal or negotiation.
We reserve the right to modify, withdraw, merge, or replace award categories.
The judging panel may choose not to select a winner in any category.
- Event Bookings (Tables and Seats)
Bookings must be completed online and paid by credit/debit card or invoice.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
Table and seat allocations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bookings of fewer than six seats may be placed at a shared table.
Dietary requirements must be communicated in advance; alternatives cannot be guaranteed.
Substitutions are permitted with written notice at least one week before the event.
We reserve the right to change event timings, dates, and/or venue.
All prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
Late or failed payments may result in cancellation of bookings without refund.
Partially paid bookings will not secure seats until full payment is received.
- Cancellation Policy
Written cancellations received up to six weeks before the event date will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be issued after this time.
Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
If written cancellation is not received, full payment remains due regardless of attendance.
- Code of Conduct
Participants and event attendees must always conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly.
Discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal or disqualification without refund.
Event-specific rules, including responsible alcohol consumption and security checks, also apply.
- Intellectual Property
You retain copyright over original submissions.
By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the material for award-related promotional purposes.
All Elysian Awards branding, logos, and website content are owned by us and may not be used without permission.
- Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By participating, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Website Use
You agree not to misuse the Website, including attempts to hack, disrupt functionality, scrape data, or upload malicious content.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Website and are not responsible for inaccuracies or technical issues.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login details if applicable.
- Photography, Video & Media Consent
By attending any Elysian Awards event, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and permit us to use such material for marketing, press, and future promotional purposes.
If you wish to opt out, you must inform us in writing before the event; however, complete exclusion cannot be guaranteed for wide-shot or crowd images.
- Third-Party Services & Links
The Website and event materials may include links to third-party sites or involve third-party suppliers, sponsors, or partners. We are not responsible for their content, actions, or policies.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Elysian Awards is not liable for:
- Loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in the awards.
- Technical errors, website interruptions, or submission issues.
- Judging panel decisions.
- Loss or damage to personal property at events.
- Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including fire, flood, epidemics, civil unrest, or acts of God.
- Programme Changes
We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any part of the Awards, including categories, timelines, and events.
- Accessibility
We aim to provide accessible events and will make reasonable adjustments where possible. Some venue limitations may be outside our control.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Severability
If any clause of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain in full effect.
- Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Elysian Awards and supersede any previous verbal or written agreements.
