Nominating
Who can enter?
Anyone working across education, care, therapy, outreach and community services. Individuals, teams, organisations and partnerships are all welcome. The categories are deliberately broad, because good work does not arrive in neat shapes.
Does it cost anything to nominate?
No. Nominations are free, and they always will be.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. Self-nomination is welcome and it is common. If you are proud of your work, put it forward.
How do I nominate someone?
Nominations are made online. While nominations are open, the Nominate page takes you straight to the form.
Which category should I choose?
Pick the one that fits the work best. If a nomination sits better elsewhere, the judging panel moves it. The Categories page sets out what each award looks for.
When do nominations close?
While nominations are open, the closing date sits at the top of the Nominate page and counts down on the home page.
How does judging work?
Every nomination is read and screened, and the strongest go through as finalists. An independent panel then scores the finalists in each category against a clear framework. The highest score wins, and the panel writes a few lines on what stood out.
What happens after I nominate?
You will hear from us once the finalists are chosen, and every finalist is invited to the ceremony.
Do finalists need to attend the ceremony?
Yes. Finalists must attend the awards evening to receive their award.
Coming on the night
When and where is the ceremony?
The date and venue appear on The Night page as soon as they are confirmed.
What is the dress code?
Formal or celebration wear. Come dressed to impress.
What does the evening involve?
A red carpet arrival and welcome drinks, dinner, the presentations, live music and a celebration disco to finish.
How do I book?
Book through The Night page, which links to Elysian Events, our events website. Choose a full table for twelve, a half table for six or an individual seat.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Venue access details, including step-free routes, accessible parking and accessible toilets, appear on The Night page once the venue is confirmed. Tell us what you need when you book and we will sort it.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. We ask for dietary requirements ahead of the event and plan the menus around them. Send yours by the date given in your booking emails so the kitchen can accommodate them.
Will there be photography on the night?
Yes. The evening is photographed and filmed, and the images are used in marketing and press. If you would rather not appear, tell us in writing before the event. We cannot promise to exclude anyone from wide shots of the room.
Is there a raffle?
Yes. There is a charity raffle on the night, and table bookings include prize draw entry for every guest. Proceeds go to partner charities chosen by Elysian's sites and projects.

What do sponsors receive?
It depends on the package. Branding across the event, the website and the campaign, a table for your team and guests, a category of your own, and acknowledgement on the night. The Become a sponsor page sets out each package.
What sponsorship opportunities are there?
Opportunities start from £250, from supporting the raffle to headline partnership of the evening. Enquire on the Become a sponsor page and we will send you the detail.
