Clare Balding joins us as our special guest

We are delighted to announce that broadcaster and author Clare Balding will be our special guest at the 2027 Elysian Awards.

We are delighted to announce that Clare Balding will be our special guest at the 2027 Elysian Awards at G Live, Guildford.

Clare is one of the best known and best loved voices in British broadcasting. She has presented the BBC’s coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and of Wimbledon, has presented Crufts for many years, and presents Ramblings on Radio 4. She is also an award-winning author, whose books include her memoir My Animals and Other Family and a series of children’s stories about racehorses.

Away from the microphone, Clare is a patron of Riding for the Disabled and the British Paralympic Association.

Why we are so pleased

The Elysian Awards celebrate people bringing compassion, creativity and courage to education, care, therapy and community services. Clare has spent her career telling the stories of people who achieve remarkable things, and she has a lifelong love of animals. We cannot think of a better person to help us celebrate our finalists.

“We are thrilled that Clare can be with us,” said Dr Charlotte Williams, founder of the Elysian Awards. “Our finalists do extraordinary work, often without anyone noticing. Having Clare in the room to celebrate them makes the night even more special.”
